3DMark03 is a computer benchmarking tool to determine the performance of your computer's 3D graphic rendering and CPU workload processing capabilities for gaming and other applications.
3DMark03 is the first version that supports Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and introduces several new features. The graphics tests cover a range of rendering techniques and DirectX 9 features.
As a complete package, 3DMark03 consists of:

- 2 CPU tests - low resolution versions of GT1 and GT3, using software vertex shaders to provide the CPU load

![Scientists are getting very close to creating an actual invisibility cloak, as separate research teams over the past week have revealed significant advancements in the area. But it still faces one major problem: that is only works in one direction, which means the hidden object becomes visible if the viewpoint changes. Nonetheless, this large-scale cloak could be successfully used to hide satellites in orbit and other huge objects. And a Shanghai-based team of researchers unveiled another invisibility cloak which they claim can be adjusted to make items invisible from any line of sight. The scientists demonstrated the cloak by making a pet goldfish and a cat disappear.
